Not sure that this represents that much of a change in India. While I was rather surprised to find that Maxim has decided to extend its subscription base to the Motherland, I seriously doubt that there will be anything particularly racy in it at all, in fact it will probably be no worse than the standards allowed on Indian TV at present (mind you, I do question the 'suitable for family' aspect of some of that - no kissing scenes, but wet clingy wet saris?..). My main point is that I really doubt it will sell well. In fact, there's more chance of Radiohead being voted India's favouerite band...
